Clinic Description Time
Practice Nurses They are available by appointment for immunisations, asthma, diabetes and COPD follow up, dressings, cervical smears,  MOT checks, travel information and minor medical problems. Kingsland – each morning and  afternoon.        Orleton – Wednesday and Thursday mornings.   Leintwardine – Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
Health Care Assistants Our Health Care Assistants assist the nurses by taking blood, blood pressure checks, ear syringing,minor dressings, diabetic foot checks, diet advice and performing ECGs. Kingsland – each morning and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Orleton – Tuesday morning

Leintwardine – All day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning

Family Planning Contraceptive services are available from all doctors.  Coils and contraceptive implants are fitted by Dr Voysey. By appointment
Vaccinations Routine and travel vaccinations for adults are available during surgery times by appointment with our nurses or during our Travel Clinics which are held every other Tuesday afternoon.  We can now give Yellow Fever vaccine.We run a flu jab clinic in the autumn.Ask at reception for further information. Maternity Maternity care is shared between the doctors and midwife.  All doctors provide antenatal and post-natal care.  Pre conception advice is available from your doctor. Midwife clinic – Friday morning in Kingsland
Childhood Immunisations Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the fortnightly clinic in Kingsland. Alternate Tuesday afternoons in Kingsland
Health Visitor The Health Visitor is available on 01432 260195.  Clinics for weighing and advice only are second Wednesday morning each month in Kingsland and first Thursday in Leintwardine. By appointment for weighing and advice. Please ring 01432 260195 regarding 9 month and 2 year checks.
Young Persons Clinic  12-18 year olds can make an appointment at this clinic. Every Wednesday afternoon on each site.  Appointments to be booked from 8.30 each Wednesday morning.
Cervical Smear Tests Drs  Voysey and all practice nurses except Sister Burke are registered to take smears By appointment with Practice Nurses unless a Doctor’s appointment is specifically required.
Private services Some services are not covered by the NHS and a charge will be made for these.  This includes HGV medicals, passport applications, insurance reports, some travel immunisations etc.  Some of these may be subject to VAT.
